Dax Shepard and his family are enjoying time together by the water.
The Armchair Expert host, 51, shared a carousel of photos on Instagram from his family’s trip to a lake in Tennessee on Monday, Aug. 4, including a rare look at his daughters Delta, 11, and Lincoln, 13. Shepard, who shares his girls with wife Kristen Bell, could be seen driving a boat on the water in one clip.
As the video panned out, his two daughters were pictured sitting at the front of the boat. One of the girls had her hair in a bun, while the other had French braids. “Dream summer ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Shepard captioned the post.

This past March, Bell, 46, celebrated her daughter Lincoln entering her teen years with a sweet video montage set to the tune of Amos Lee’s “Sweat Pea” posted on Instagram on March 27.
“13 years ago today we had our first baby girl ❤️,” Bell began the caption. “Getting to know her wit, compassion, and sense of adventure has brought us a kind of joy we didn’t have a word for before we met her.”
The Frozen star went on to describe parenting as “both the hardest and best thing I’ve ever done.”
“Thank you to all the role models we have had for our girls(I’m looking at you Mrs Browne!!!) and to the village who taught us how to be parents,” Bell added. “Getting to love this kid is the greatest job on earth. Happy 13th birthday baby girl ❤️.”
In an October conversation with PEOPLE, Bell opened up about the “peaceful” summer she spent on the lake with her husband and their two daughters.
“We went to Tennessee for the summer and stayed on the lake,” she began, before joking, “And my children are lake rats. They were in every morning, they were jumping in and getting way too close to the turtles and collecting frogs.”
Bell also noted that the change of pace from their home base in L.A. to lake life in the Nashville area felt “very peaceful” for her family.
“I think it’s really healthy for me and my family to burst our bubble often and get outside of the city of Los Angeles, as much as we love it, and just see the rest of the world,” she told PEOPLE.
She added that because their family was having such a great time together at the lake, she often forgot to take photos during their fun-filled getaway, “which I think is the best way to really judge if your travel is filling up your soul, is if you’re not taking pictures, because I was just there and present.”
