Dick Van Dyke and Arlene Silver are celebrating 14 years of marriage.
To mark their 14th wedding anniversary, the couple — who said "I do" on a leap day, Feb. 29, 2012 — opened up about their marriage on Instagram Live over the weekend. Afterward, Silver posted the recorded session on her Instagram page on Sunday, March 1. She wrote in the caption, "14 year anniversary with my very special guest ❤️❤️❤️."
In the video, Silver, 54, says, "I have a very special guest today to celebrate a very special day. My husband is here!" before panning over to Van Dyke, 100, who was lying next to her on their bed.

"I'm not really shorter, I'm just lying down on the bed," Van Dyke joked with a laugh before pointing to his wife and saying, "Hi, she's mine!"
Silver then continued to read comments, answer questions and read aloud fan names.
Silver met Van Dyke — who has four children with his late ex-wife, Margie Willett — backstage at the SAG Awards in 2006, where she was working as a makeup artist. During the Instagram Live, Silver encouraged Van Dyke to share the story of how they first met.
"I was sitting in the green room where everybody waits to go on, and the place is full of actors and actresses. One thing about Hollywood actresses, they're pretty heads on stick figures. So I know them in a minute. I was sitting there just by myself, all of a sudden I see this vision approaching me. No stick figure, gorgeous!" Van Dyke said. "And I swear this, I never thought of getting up, I never thought of speaking, I found myself standing on my feet saying, 'Hi, I'm Dick.' I don't know what hit me, but I just did it. I invited her to sit down, we chatted a while, turns out she was a makeup gal, so I hired her on the spot."

After collaborating several times across the stage and screen, the pair tied the knot in Malibu, Calif., six years after they met.
"Neither one of us can think where the time went," Van Dyke said. "We've had so much fun, been so many places. And I've fallen in love with her more every day. I do, I'm telling you. She gets better every day. I wouldn't even be here, I wouldn't be 100 years old if it weren't for her, and that's no kidding. She's pulled me through a lot of things."
He added, "But I feel pretty good for 100. And she just keeps getting more and more gorgeous, doesn't she?"
Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE at the world premiere of Dick Van Dyke: 100th Celebration ahead of Van Dyke's centennial birthday in December 2025, Silver emphasized that she is "so grateful" not just to celebrate her husband at events, but also to be with him in their downtime.
"I'm so glad he's still with us. I've always been celebrating him, since 2011 when I got him on social media. It's like a pinnacle of all that is … All these different people from different events we've done… So cool," she said. "I'm so happy."
She continued, "I'm so honored to have him in my life, take care of him, and nurture this community that we've built, that he's built over the years."

While chatting with PEOPLE the previous month, Van Dyke opened up about his marriage, praising his wife's contributions to his life and legacy.
"She's responsible for keeping me in the moment," he said of Silver. "She's kept me happy every day of my life, every day. She's a joy. She can get me singing or dancing, and she carries so much responsibility … I'm just lucky."
