Domino’s is launching a pizza fit to feed just one.
The chain announced that it is releasing the ‘Domino,’ a personal Detroit-style pizza that can be customized, in an Aug. 11 press release shared with PEOPLE.
Shaped like a domino in a nod to the brand’s logo, the rectangular pizza features a buttery-flavored pan dough with Parmesan cheese.
The Detroit-style crust is topped with the customer’s choice of sauce, two layers of cheese and up to three toppings before being sliced in two. It’s drizzled with the brand’s signature garlic seasoning.

The new pizza is hitting stores nationwide on Aug. 31. It is also included in the Domino’s Mix and Match Deal, allowing customers to get two or more menu items each for $6.99.
According to the pizza chain, the personal pie “delivers the demands of today’s modern pizza occasion, providing customization without compromise.”
“The Domino does what traditional pizza can’t,” the brand said. “Now everyone can enjoy their own pizza, with the toppings they want, without having to sacrifice when sharing a meal with friends and family.”
“Sharing a meal no longer means having to share a pizza,” they added.
A spokesperson for the brand said in the release that the personal pie “fills a gap in our portfolio.”
“When everyone wants something different, traditional pizza falls short,” the spokesperson added. “The Domino lets every person build the exact pizza they want.”

The chain also said that independent testing had showed that customers had rated the ‘Domino’ as “one of the most delicious products Domino’s has ever introduced.”
According to the release, the Domino is the first pizza named after the chain in its more than 65-year history. The chain was founded in 1960 and currently has over 22,500 stores in over 90 markets.
The pizza chain has previously sought to innovate, creating a new logo and jingle from country star Shaboozey in October 2025.
In its first brand refresh since 2012, per ADWEEK, the pizza chain enhanced its shades of red and blue to make them brighter, began using a custom font called Domino’s Sans and created a new trademark “Dommmino’s.”
The boxes were also updated with a simpler design, while Handmade Pan and Parmesan Stuffed Crust pizzas began featuring black and metallic gold accents.
“As a nearly 65-year-old brand, we know that to stay strong and relevant we need to always remain modern and bold for our current and future customers,” a representative for the brand told ADWEEK at the time.
“We’ve taken a thoughtful approach by listening closely to our customers and franchisees, as well as conducting consumer research to understand what makes Domino’s special,” the representative added of the refresh, adding that the new colors were “vibrant shades of red and blue to make the brand craveable for the next generation of pizza lovers.”
“This refresh is about continuing to push to be the best version of ourselves,” the representative said in a press release at the time.
