Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson narrowly avoided a birthday catastrophe as he celebrated his daughter turning 7.
On Sunday, April 27, the Black Adam star, 52, shared a hilarious birthday tribute on Instagram for his youngest daughter Tiana, whom he shares with his wife Lauren Hashian. In the post, the girl dad can be seen cutting his daughter’s birthday cake, and after successfully giving her a big slice, he almost drops the rest of it.
Johnson quickly grabs the cake, impressively averting a major birthday mishap. In the caption, the box office juggernaut joked about the situation before saying happy birthday to his “youngest tornado.”
“You know I’m not letting a bunch of little girls grow up telling a story about how ‘The Rock killed our birthday cake’ 😂🎂🤦🏽♂️ Their high pitched shrieks in unison is the perfect way to spike your adrenaline! 💥🤪,” he wrote. “Happy Birthday to my youngest tornado, Tia! Love U baby ❤️🤎.”

In addition to Tiana, the Fast & Furious star has two other daughters: Jasmine Johnson, 9, whom he shares with his wife, as well as Simone Johnson, 23, whom he shares with ex-wife Dany Garcia. In 2021, Johnson opened up to PEOPLE about being a girl dad and raising his daughters.
“You can be wired, as a lot of fathers are, to fix things. Just having an expanded capacity to listen and be more tender and gentle really gave me that ability to solve whatever the issue is, but with them compared to for them,” he shared.
The actor spoke with PEOPLE again in 2023 — this time about balancing fatherhood and his many career pursuits.
“I’ve reached a point in my life where I can create my own schedule, which has really been nice, because it wasn’t always that way, and I’m really lucky,” Johnson said. “It allows me to get closer to the girls.”

Johnson is a proud girl dad. In an Instagram reel shared in January, the Fast and Furious actor revealed that he got covered in makeup during a wild makeover session with his younger daughters.
Half of his face was painted with bright pink lipstick in the clip, while more makeup was smeared all over his nose and eyes. He sat stone-faced in his daughters’ bedroom as the song “The Sound of Silence” by Simon & Garfunkel played in the background.
“What started off with my two tornadoes, Jazzy and Tia asking, ‘Daddy can we just put some eye shadow on you’ and me saying — ‘yes but make it quick and make it cool, because I gotta go to the gym’ … #papabearduties,’ ” the actor wrote in the caption of the post.
