Hailey Bieber is sharing a candid update about motherhood in a new episode of influencer Jake Shane's podcast Therapuss.
Hailey, 29, spoke about her son, Jack Blues Bieber, whom she shares with husband Justin Bieber. Jack, now 16 months, has begun talking, and he has a lot to say. When Shane, 26, asked what the little one says, Hailey revealed, "So he talks a lot about basketball."
"He says basketball all the time," Hailey said. "I went to get him up from his nap today, and he was like 'basketball'. He's just. It's insane. So funny."
"He also just started saying please. He knew how to sign please for a really long time. So if I would say, hey, 'say please', he would go this, as please," Hailey said while performing the American Sign Language gesture for "please."
Jack Blues was born in August 2024. Shortly after Jack’s birth was announced, a source told PEOPLE, “They’re both overjoyed. The baby is such a miracle. He’s adorable and doing well. The pregnancy was something that they very much wished and prayed for.”
In her interview on Therapuss, Hailey went on to say about motherhood, "It is so fun. I always knew I wanted kids, I always wanted to be a mom. And then when it happens, you never know what to expect and you don't know what it's going to be like. And it honestly it's so much fun."
When asked by Shane what is the "one thing" no one warned her about and she wasn't expecting, Hailey replied, "It's a whole bunch of you just don't know what's going to happen until you get there. I think something that I feel did surprise me, though, was I. I feel like I'm a lot more relaxed as a mom than I thought I would be. I think especially as a first time mom."

Hailey also shared that she hopes to expand her family.
“I definitely do want one more," she said, adding, "I'm not in a rush, but I definitely want one more. Maybe I'll have four more. Maybe I'll have three. I don't know, I really don't know. I'm just taking it one day at a time.”
