‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ star says her then-fiancé gave her Botox two weeks before her wedding

Heather Dubrow’s wedding went off without a hitch — but she almost looked very different on the big day.
While appearing on The Bitch Bible podcast on Tuesday, Sept. 29, the Real Housewives of Orange County star, 57, admitted to host Jackie Schimmel that she almost had a cosmetic mishap after her husband Terry Dubrow, 68, gave her Botox two weeks before their wedding date.
“Okay, fun story. Maybe two weeks before we got married, Terry gave me Botox. And you know, sometimes it just happens and I got a droopy lid,” said Dubrow. “But there’s these drops called iopidine. It sounds like eye opening, but they’re iopidine, and they make your eyes open.”
“So I was fine at the wedding,” she continued. “Poor guy. I felt so bad for him. I almost didn’t wanna tell him.”
Heather and Terry tied the knot in 1999. They went on to welcome four kids together — Max, Nick, Kat and Ace.
In June 2024, the famous couple celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a nostalgic sweet treat. Heather and Terry marked the milestone by recreating moments from their 1999 wedding adventures, which included taking a trip back to their honeymoon spot, Venice, Italy, and treating themselves to a replica of their wedding cake.

Heather shared photos on Instagram of the couple cutting the original cake 25 years ago and then cutting the 2024 version. “The first photo shows our original wedding cake, which was just this beautiful and unique white cake with pearls and crystal butterflies on it — I swear it was the cake of my dreams,” she explained on Instagram.
The second photo showed the couple smiling as they cut into the “perfectly recreated” cake from the Aman Venice hotel. “We were so blown away by this special moment from our Italy trip ❤️,” Heather continued.
A year before, Heather marked her 24th anniversary with her surgeon husband, 68, by sharing a few marriage secrets the couple abides by in an Instagram post. Her number one tip was: “Have separate bathrooms.”
Her next tip was to “date your spouse. No really, don’t stop going on dates … ever!” she advised. She also suggested couples “let things go,” and followed that with a key tip for when disagreements arise: “Don’t fight when you’re tired or with alcohol on board. (Trust me on this!).”
Heather went on to reflect on her many years with Terry, writing, “Marriage is a leap of faith — but if you’re lucky and work hard at it you get to do life with your best friend and partner in crime! Like me & T.”
She also shared a Reel filled with throwback photos of her and Terry over the years, including their wedding picture. It was set to “Only You” by the Platters, which Heather said was their wedding song.
“24 years of marriage and it still feels like we’re newlyweds! 👰🏻🤵🏻❤️,” Heather wrote. “I love you Honyi @drdubrow and I’m VERY excited for this next adventure ! Cheers to US 🥂.”
