Three people have died, including a mom of two and a high school senior who was recently crowned prom queen, following a multi-car crash in Missouri.

The fatal crash occurred on Lewis and Clarke Boulevard in St. Louis County on the night of Friday, May 1, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).

State troopers said a 2013 Cadillac SRX sideswiped a 2020 Lexus RX350 while both vehicles were traveling southbound on the roadway, causing the Lexus “to travel into the northbound lanes.”

A 2013 Toyota Highlander traveling northbound on the roadway then collided with the Lexus, which then “overturned.” Meanwhile, the Cadillac “traveled off the right side of the road and collided with trees.”

Three people died in the crash, including the 53-year-old female driver of the Lexus, her 18-year-old female passenger and the 28-year-old female driver of the Highlander.

The driver of the Highlander has been identified as Andrea Medina, a mom of two, according to NBC affiliate KSDK. Juan Medina described his sister as a “hardworking, kind hearted and dedicated mother” who was “just getting started in life.”

The Ritenour School District reportedly also confirmed the teen killed in the crash was Jordyn “Lunar” Williams. Her aunt, Cherese Fisher, has been identified as the driver of the Lexus, who also died.

Williams was a senior at Ritenour High School, and had been crowned prom queen just days before the crash, according to Fox affiliate KVTI and NBC affiliate KSDK. She was set to graduate later this month.

At least two memorials have been erected in Williams’ honor, including one at the site of the crash and another at her school.

Williams’ death comes shortly after another Ritenour High senior, Landon King, was shot and killed outside of a QuikTrip convenience store, according to KTVI.

“This has been a very difficult time for the Ritenour High School community,” assistant superintendent Dr. Bruce Green said in a statement following the tragedy. “This loss is especially hard, as many in our school community have experienced grief over the past month.”

Ritenour High School and the school district did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The driver of the Cadillac, 20-year-old Devin Daugherty, is now facing charges in connection with the crash, according to KSDK and CBS affiliate KMOV.

Daugherty reportedly is being charged with three counts of leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death and one count of driving while revoked or suspended. He is being held on a $250,000 bond.
