My style has changed considerably over the years, but my handbag collection, not so much.
Sure, I’ve added to my assortment here and there, but my Longchamp bags — yes, I have two — are the ones I’ll never, ever retire. My 2014 Le Pliage tote, which Meghan Markle has too, is my most-used bag ever. It's been everywhere with me, including the pool, the plane, and even Paris. Nonetheless, $180 is a lot to spend on a bag when the prices of necessities like groceries and gas are skyrocketing.
So taking that into consideration, I found a few alternatives that are as cute as the real deal yet won’t burn a hole in your wallet.

Nnee Nylon Tote Bag
Like my beloved Longchamp tote, this bag is also made of nylon, has a zipper, and, all things considered, looks relatively close to mine. The main difference is that it has an additional cotton lining, which reviewers say they like. It doesn’t have the button flap, but I honestly rarely use mine anyway. In other words, there's a lot to like for only $27.

Longchamp Large Le Pliage Tote
I'd be remiss if I didn't include my exact Le Pilage tote. The body of the bag is made with a durable nylon — even after a decade of use, mine has never ripped or been scratched up. It’s also shapeless compared to other bags, so you can really pack it full or fold it completely flat. The zipper is way more convenient than a bag with only one loose latch, and the long handles always stay put on my shoulders.

Back at Amazon and even at Lands’ End, a celebrity-favored brand, there are even more carryalls, which are indeed foldable, and come with an exterior pocket that I wish my bag had. I also found some leather-like options in case you prefer those.
