Social media star Kayla Malec isn’t going to let a little wardrobe malfunction get her down.
The TikTok influencer, 20, responded to her followers pointing out that she had a nip slip while swimming in Hawaii via social media on Sunday, June 8. “Did I?” she said while laughing.
“And the video has 10 million views,” Malec said. “This is the reason I’m getting an f***ing boob job in less than a month.” She joked, “They won’t exist in a month! It didn’t happen!”
On Saturday, June 7, Malec’s TikTok went viral when a video showed her swimming in the ocean rocking a blue-and-white patterned bikini. The swimsuit featured a triangle halter top and a shell detail on her straps. She teamed the piece with high-cut bottoms that were finished with bows on her hips.
In the video, Malec referenced her ex, saying, “Last time I was at this exact same beach, I thought I was getting proposed to.” She added, “Now me and my best friends are playing mermaids. How life can get better.”
Malec dated Evan Johnson for nearly one year. Last month, she announced via Instagram that she won her domestic assault case against him.

“I WON,” she captioned a clip of her walking outside of a Tennessee courthouse. In the background, she played Kanye West’s song “Jail.”
Johnson pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 18 months for his charges, which also included a probation violation for a DUI.

In May, Malec shared with her followers that she was in an “extremely abusive” relationship. She later detailed incidents where he abused her via social media.
Since, she’s been open about her healing journey, which included an “exposure therapy” trip to Hawaii with her friends.

“Every time I’ve ever been to Hawaii I got the s**t beat out of me,” she said earlier this month. “I flew me and my friends [here]. I’m hoping I don’t get any more jail calls because he called me two days ago on the jail phone,” Malec said. “Trying to flip the script of how it’s been every time I’ve ever gone to Hawaii.”
