Jacob Elordi’s time during filming his new movie with Margot Robbie included a medical emergency — and all because he decided to shower better.
In an interview with Esquire, the actor, 28, shared the details of how his showering routine differed on the set of Wuthering Heights and 2025’s Frankenstein.
When portraying the role of “the Creature” in the latter film, which required him undergoing 10 hours of makeup daily, Elordi said he had “so much makeup in my fingers and in my feet all the time” that he couldn’t be “bothered” washing it off at the end of the day.

Elordi’s response, “Well I’m going to go away and maim myself on the weekend to prove to you that I’m Heathcliff!” which might’ve been one of the spiritual occurrences happening on site and also experienced by Wuthering Heights director Emerald Fennell.
This week marked the start of the Wuthering Heights press tour, and the fashion has been nothing short of a romantic tale.
At the Los Angeles premiere on Jan. 28, Elordi and Robbie brought gothic glamour to the carpet in coordinating looks. For his part, the actor (who is nominated for a 2026 Oscar) wore an understated all-black Bottega Veneta suit, while Robbie made a dramatic statement in a lace ombré Schiaparelli gown accessorized with the Cartier Taj Mahal from the Elizabeth Taylor Archive and Estate.
