Brett Dier is married less than a year after he announced his engagement.
The Jane the Virgin alum, 36, tied the knot with actress and photographer Conor Leslie, 35. The two announced their marriage in individual posts on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
“I’ve heard in my life a lot the Person you pick to spend your life with is the most important decision you can ever make,” Dier wrote on Instagram. “It was also the easiest decision I’ve ever made. Excited and beyond grateful for the rest of our life together💍 ❤️.”

He added, “I love my family and friends,” and thanked his wedding photographer, Richard Krutick.
Leslie announced the happy news on her own Instagram page, writing, “On a beautiful weekend in upstate New York this September, I married the love of my life amongst a handful of our closest friends and family. And it is officially, my favorite memory and greatest decision♥️.”
The newlyweds shared several photos from their wedding celebration, which appeared to take place at Callisto Farmhouse, a restored 1865 farmhouse on the 88-acre regenerative farm Callisto Hudson Valley Farm in High Falls, New York. The farm commented on Leslie’s post, “Congratulations! Thank you for celebrating here ❤️.”

The ceremony and reception dinner appeared to have been held outside before dancing took place inside the barn.
For the big day, Leslie wore an ivory, satin halter-neck maxi dress with a scarf detail at the neck and an open back, while Dier opted for a dark olive green suit.
A few stars from Jane the Virgin, including Minka Kelly and Sofia Pernas, congratulated the couple in the comments section.

Earlier this year, the pair announced their engagement in two posts on Instagram on Thursday, Jan. 29.
“I GET TO MARRY MY BESTFRIEND IN THE UNIVERSE!!!! 👽👽,” Dier captioned two black-and-white engagement photos on Instagram.
The Canadian actor shared a sweet selfie of Leslie kissing him on the cheek as she rested her left hand gently on his chest with her engagement ring on full display, and a close-up of her flashing the sparkler in front of her face. The two appeared to be enjoying the wintertime in nature, and they matched in sherpa jackets.
Leslie commented, “I’m pretty darn lucky 🥲♥️👽.”
In her own Instagram post sharing the same photos, she wrote, “Gonna marry my best friend 👽♥️.” Dier commented, “I can’t wait ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Dier and Leslie have been romantically linked since late 2024.
Leslie was quietly introduced on Dier’s Instagram page in November 2024 when he shared photos taken by her and credited her in the caption next to heart emojis. In April 2025, he gushed in another post that she was his “lady and bestest friend in the world.”

Dier first made his appearance on Leslie’s Instagram page in December 2024 when Leslie shared a black-and-white film photo of him in the woods from October 2024. On Valentine’s Day in 2025, Leslie wrote on Instagram that he was her “favorite person in the universe,” and called him her “fella” in another post two months later.
The couple share a cat and two dogs.
