"It was always you," the caption of their joint Instagram post shared on Wednesday, Feb. 11, began. "Even in those long, dark spaces of my youth Where I learned to hold my own heart You were always there Breathing life into these tiny glimmers of a child’s heart….Love…..Soulmate……Marriage You are a dream come true Jack."
Malone, 41, continued, "My soulmate asked me to marry him. First , he asked those who have protected and cared for my heart for so long. Both of my Moms , my Sister, my Son … and with every lifetime, every moment I have in front of me I said yes. @jacktbuckley I love you forever!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥹🥹🥹🥹🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰."
The actress shares son Ode Mountain DeLorenzo Malone, 9, with ex Ethan DeLorenzo. Malone announced Ode's birth on Instagram in May 2016.

“The best weekend of our lives,” Malone wrote at the time alongside a black-and-white photo of the family. “What an incredible blessing to be chosen by this amazing, kind, gentle and beautiful soul to be his parents.”
She added, “Humbled and in complete awe that we get to experience the most ancient and transcendent love that exists.”

In the new engagement photos, the couple embrace atop a scenic mountain lookout point overlooking the water. In another photo, The Hunger Games star smiles while showing off her diamond engagement ring as she wears a black cardigan, brown pants, hiking boots, and a red beret.
In the last photo, Buckley appears to hold a bottle of champagne in the back seat of a car as Malone smiles at the camera while holding a heart-shaped red balloon.
