Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones are on either side of the leg-shaving debate after Keke Palmer’s recent confession.
The co-hosts of Today with Jenna & Sheinelle reacted to the 32-year-old actress’ recent confession that she “doesn’t really” shave her legs when asked to name one thing she’s not ashamed to admit on the Are You Okay? web series.
“I can’t even remember the last time I shaved my legs,” Jones, 48, told Bush Hager, 44. “My legs? No, not really. I don’t really get hair on my legs.”

A perplexed Bush Hager then asked her co-host for permission to feel her leg to prove it.
“Wow, she’s like a hairless cat!” Bush Hager said in disbelief. “I am so jealous of how soft and hairless of a cat you are.”
Jones flipped the question on Bush Hager, asking her if she shaves every day.
“I shave every day, and I’m not going to let you touch me,” she joked, bashfully moving away from Jones, who wanted to reciprocate the motion. “Only during commercial break because I’m hairier than you and I shaved this morning.”

“I feel judged!” she exclaimed.
Ultimately, Bush Hager allowed Jones to feel her leg. At first, Jones giggled upon first touch, but Bush Hager told her to feel the front instead because she “didn’t get” the back of her leg while shaving.
“That’s good,” assured Jones.
The topic arose days after Palmer went viral for her admission, as seen in the clip released on Friday, July 31.

“I don’t really shave my legs. I’m not doing it,” Palmer admitted. “Who’s sitting there?” she continued while pretending to shave her legs. “If you don’t like me because of the hair on my legs, then we’re not meant to be.”

Then, Palmer — who hosts the Baby, It’s Keke Palmer podcast — revealed her go-to hair removal process of choice, should she decide to actually rid her legs of hair.
“Every six months, I might slap some Nair on there,” she said, adding of the traditional razor and shaving cream removal process, “but I’m not sitting there doing all that.”
