Jenny McCarthy Says She and Husband Donnie Wahlberg Are ‘Going to Vegas’ After Listing Longtime Illinois Home

The couple put their Chicago-area mansion, which they’ve owned since 2015, on the market for $2.8 million earlier this week

Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are heading to Sin City!

The New Kids on the Block singer, 57, and the Masked Singer judge, 53, will be heading to Las Vegas after putting their longtime Chicago-area home on the market earlier this week. While Wahlberg previously opened up to PEOPLE about the possibility of moving to California to be closer to his sons, McCarthy has since revealed they’re off to the Nevada city instead. 

In response to PEOPLE sharing the news of the couple listing their home on Instagram on Sept. 24, the author confirmed their Vegas move in the comments section, stating: “Going to Vegas. Not Cali.” 

The move makes sense, as Wahlberg has been performing with his New Kids on the Block bandmates at their Las Vegas residency since June 2025. The residency was later extended into late 2026, with upcoming shows set to take place at Dolby Live at Park MGM this October. 

Wahlberg and McCarthy officially put their St. Charles home, located in a quiet suburb outside of Chicago, on the market for $2.8 million earlier this week. Cory Jones of eXp Realty currently holds the listing. 

The Tudor-style mansion features four bedrooms and six bathrooms, and is set on nearly 1.3 acres of land surrounded by lush greenery. The property, which the couple has owned since 2015, also features a home theater, gym, sauna, cold plunge, putting green and a dazzling pool with a waterslide and hot tub. 

PEOPLE previously got an exclusive tour of the 7,236-square-foot home after the pair extensively renovated it with the help of Chicago-based designer John Wolf of Wolf Home Design.  

The couple — who celebrated their 12-year wedding anniversary in August — leaned into their “music man-meets-glam fashion” design aesthetic in the home, while still keeping the space functional for their family, they told PEOPLE in 2019.

Signature touches are still in the home today, including the “D” and “J”-shaped door handles and a poker table decorated with their names.

While unveiling their abode to PEOPLE at the time, they expressed how their house served as an extension of the love and gratitude they have for each other, noting that it was the first property they looked at together.

“This isn’t an extravagant home, but there’s no greater symbol of our love for each other than this house and how much love has gone into it,” Wahlberg said, adding that he and McCarthy discussed their longing to have a “small town life” when they first met. 

“We made it a goal for ourselves and said it out loud because we wanted to make it happen. And here we are, together with our kids, and we’re grateful for every bit of it,” he shared.
