Josh Groban is opening up about his proposal to his fiancée, Natalie McQueen.
The singer-songwriter, 45, announced his engagement to the English stage actress, 36, in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, April 21. While chatting with Etalk in an interview released on Monday, April 27, Groban shared more details about his proposal at the happiest place on earth, Disneyland.
Groban explained that he had been planning on popping the question, but hadn't nailed down a location. When he happened to have "content shooting" scheduled at Disneyland, he realized it was the perfect "excuse" to bring his family there.

"I brought my brother, my sister-in-law, my 2 -year-old nephew. We had a great day, and I called a couple friends there, and I said, 'Hey, this is going to be a really special day for us anyway. Is there a spot that's maybe private, kind of special, that I could maybe pop the question?' " Groban said. "And they said, 'Truly, leave it with us.' "
The Disney team took care of everything. They set up a romantic spot at Snow White's well, which is nestled amid the greenery near Sleeping Beauty Castle. Pastel flowers were added "all around" the wishing well for an extra romantic touch.
"The park is quiet, like everybody had gone home. The park closed early. Not for us, but it closed early anyway. And they just set it up so beautifully for us," Groban said. "And so, because we'd had such a big day, she wasn't expecting it. So, it was just a nice surprise. Big ups to Disney, they really hooked me up."

He added, "You can only plan so much, and then you just kind of say, 'Okay, I'm just going to make a decision here. I'm going to decide we're going to do it now.' And then things just fall into place."
When the couple announced their engagement, they shared two photos of them kissing at the theme park and a close-up shot of their clasped hands next to a cake with decorated with the word "Congratulations" and three red hearts. McQueen's dazzling diamond engagement ring was on display.
"MY BEST FRIEND SAID YES!!!" Groban wrote in the caption. "Sharing this life with you is my happiest place, @nataliemcqueen. Thank you @disneyweddings for helping make the best day of our lives (so far) so magical 🤍."
He added that he helped create the "gorgeous" ring with "genius" jewelry designer Tiffany Chao.
