There’s no other way to put this… Kate Hudson’s Puma sneakers are a real slam dunk.
Season 2 of Netflix’s Running Point hit screens last week, and the buzziest moment was Hudson’s impromptu half-time performance, which involved short-shorts, a bedazzled bra, blue eyeshadow, and the Puma sneakers both Rihanna and, according to the brand, Jennifer Lawrence have worn IRL.
The shoes in question were the Puma Speedcat OG sneakers in a bright blue shade, i.e., the total opposite of the white sneakers taking up space in our closets. They were also obviously comfortable enough for Hudson, 47, to dance in — so we’re making a fast break for her exact $100 pair, as well as others from the brand.

Yes, the Puma Speedcat OG sneakers are easy on the eyes, but more importantly, they’re easy on the feet. One shopper at Puma's website who dealt with plantar fasciitis said that the shoes felt like “clouds right out of the box.” A second reviewer echoed that the suede shoes don’t cause heel pain, which they said they've frequently dealt with.
The bright blue color is stunning for spring and summer — we’d style them with an all-white outfit — but there are more colors you can play around with, too. Case in point: The red pair would look nice with some jeans, while the black ones go with just about everything.

While one of the things we love most about Hudson’s sneakers is the ultra-bold hue, we understand that blue might not be for everyone. In that case, we’ll make an exception for these all-white sneakers that have over 14,000 five-star ratings at Amazon.
Sprinkle in the fact that they’re “durable and easy to clean,” as one retiree described them, and we have no choice but to cut you some slack on the lack of color. (We can’t not recommend a pair of shoes like that!)

If a sporty silhouette is what's most important to you, this pair looks the most like the OGs. (Pun intended.) They, too, have a rounded body and a flatter profile — ideal for people who don't like a chunky shoe — and they’re made with suede just like Hudson’s pair. Best of all? They’re $30 cheaper.
