Lil Nas X isn’t looking to put on a show for his cellmates in jail … choosing instead to keep a low profile and be on his best behavior behind bars, TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … police haven’t had any issues with Lil Nas since he arrived at the jail in Van Nuys this week. We’re told the “Old Town Road” rapper hasn’t tried to put on any shows or sung for those also at the jail … though, it’s not like he’d have much on an audience.
Since Lil Nas is currently in a pre-arraignment jail, there’s not a lot of activities going on … with most people finding themselves there for a few days at most.
The rapper does have access to TV, as a few are set up so those detained can watch from the cells — but don’t expect Netflix, as it’s local channels only.
Bibles, books, checkers and a few other board games are also available to those in the jail … so, Lil Nas likely has been able to pass the time since his arrest.
He’s currently eating 3 meals a day, too … with a variety of different options, including chicken, bean and cheese burritos, cereal, fruit, etc.
Remember, we broke the story, Lil Nas was picked up by the cops early on Thursday … and was first taken to a hospital to be treated for a possible overdose and later brought to the Van Nuys jail.
Lil Nas is currently stuck behind bars until Monday, when he’ll face a judge for his nude stroll — and allegedly charging a cop — and have his bail set.
Sounds like he’s trying to keep his nose clean between now and then!!!
