Taylor Krause has a message for those pressuring her and her husband Garrett Josemans to have children.

In a video posted to TikTok on Monday, Aug. 3, the 32-year-old reality star, who fell in love with her partner on season 7 of Netflix’s Love Is Blind sight unseen, told her followers that being asked personal questions doesn’t quite sit right with her.

“Let’s stop pushing women to have kids sooner,” Taylor said. “I know it comes from a good place, but, ‘When are you having kids?’ is probably the top question I get next to if Garrett and I are still together.”

I’m waiting to have kids until my late 30s 🧠🌸💘Pt 1 of my Baddie Braindump series . After getting married only 6 weeks after meeting my husband (and a slew of other big life decisions that followed quickly after); I want to refuse feeling rushed about becoming a mom, but sometimes I do. I’ve wanted to start a series where I yap about my life experiences that I know a lot of other women are navigating. So first up I’m 32, and most days I don’t feel behind waiting till my late 30s to start a family, let’s talk about it. #waitingtohavekids #womenover30 #thirtysomething #baddiebraindump

During the clip, Taylor was seated on her living room floor, adding festive patches to a diaper bag that Garrett “ironically” and accidentally bought her for her birthday instead of a travel bag as he’d intended.

“Garrett thought that that was pretty hilarious, so I’m rebelling,” Taylor said as she shared her “baddie brain dump” on why she’s waiting to have kids.

“Generally as a 32-year-old woman, I just kind of feel this immense pressure to have kids soon, which I find super annoying, because as women, I feel like we’re trying just to not get pregnant from ages like, 18 to 30, and it’s like, ‘Get pregnant, get pregnant, babies, babies, babies, now, now, now, or never,’ ” she said.

Taylor added that while she’s “very thankful” that she and Garrett “worked out really well,” she’s “done making really big life decisions” in a hurry after getting married on television after six weeks.

“And I do want kids,” she added. “I really want kids one day, just in my late 30s. And I feel like whenever I say that, I constantly get pushback about why that’s a bad idea.”

“One of the things is like, ‘Don’t you want more time with them when you’re older? You don’t want to have a complicated pregnancy. Oh, you don’t wanna be a really old parent,’ or ‘Your parents won’t have enough time with them.’ To which I say, ‘Do you not think that I’ve thought through these things?’ ” Taylor continued.

She added that at this time, she simply doesn’t “feel ready.”

“I just feel like they always say, ‘You’re never ready to become a parent,’ but I feel like if I do it too soon, then I might resent my kids. Or resent being a mom, and I really want to love and savor that process,” she continued.

Taylor made it clear that she wasn’t “putting anyone down that’s asked me this question,” and added that the question was “a very normal” one that “comes from a really good place.” However, she asked that others see women’s perspective before asking about her motherhood journey.

Taylor suggested that others consider, “Are we contributing to women feeling like their value is maybe tied to having kids and might make some people feel a certain way?”

She also asked her followers if anyone else is “sensitive” about the topic, adding, “Maybe we should stop asking this question so normally.”

Taylor and Garrett tied the knot in season 7 of the Netflix reality series, and Taylor celebrated their second wedding anniversary with a sweet Instagram post on Nov. 13, 2025.

“I’m very grateful to have a life partner like my husband because no matter where we are in the world you make it feel like home,” she wrote in part.
