We got a text — and it’s great news about the future of Love Island USA.
Nearly a year after host Ariana Madix introduced viewers to an unforgettable group of Islanders hoping to find love, Peacock has announced a first of its kind spinoff series titled Love Island: Beyond the Villa.
The new series, which is set to premiere this summer, will follow your favorite contestants from season 6 as they navigate life away from the island.
Cameras will roll as couples including Miguel Harichi and Leah Kateb and JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez continue their love stories.
In addition, exes Aaron Evans and Kaylor Martin have agreed to participate in the show after their messy breakup played out last summer.
Peacock also confirmed Connor Newsum, Serena Page, Olivia Walker and Kendall Washington will be participants “with appearances from other former Islanders.”
According to a press release, the show will document the season 6 Islanders “as they navigate new careers, evolving friendships, newfound fame and complex relationships outside of the Love Island villa.”
Last summer, Love Island USA became Peacock’s most-watched and most-talked about series by minutes watched and volume of social conversation.
The show featured a group of sexy singles on a search for love in a beautiful Fijian villa. Throughout their stay, contestants coupled up and faced heart-racing challenges.
Along the way, Islanders faced temptation leaving to must-see drama as new “bombshells” arrived.
Through all of the twists and turns, season 6 produced several successful couples including winners Serena and Kordell Beckham.
Before being spotted at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California, over the weekend with Kordell, Serena gushed to Us Weekly about her supportive man.
“We do a lot of things together, but obviously if it’s a shoot that he’s not at, he comes or he’s not a part of, he’ll come with me, vice versa,” she shared in March at Billboard’s Women in Music event. “We’re just, honestly, each other’s supporters because we kind of both know what we’re going through right now. So anytime I have anything, I’m like, ‘babe.’”
