Love Island USA's Jalen Brown is married!
The season 7 star found love outside the villa and announced his marriage to wife Joiya Brown in a joint reel on Instagram on Monday, May 18. The post, simply captioned "The Browns🤎," revealed that the couple's courthouse wedding ceremony took place three days prior on Friday, May 15.
In the video, which was set to "Joy" by Blackstreet, the couple exchanged rings in a simple ceremony, then flashed their new bling in a mirror at home. Other clips were of the pair embracing outside, dancing inside their home, and posing by their car. One black-and-white clip gradually turned colorful as Jalen and Joiya kissed.
For their special day, Joiya wore a white dress with a halter neckline while Jalen opted for a dark suit. They shared a closer look at their intimate nuptials in another Instagram post the following day that the bride captioned "One Accord🤍."
Several stars from Jalen's season of Love Island USA congratulated him in the comments section, including Chelley Bissainthe, who commented, "This is beautiful! Congratulations! 🥳," and Taylor Williams, who wrote, "Yessir my boy!!!!!!! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽."
Joiya's sisters, Jayla Henry and Janae Sims, also shared their support.
Jayla commented, "I HAVENT STOPPED CRYING!!!!!!! MRS.BROWN!!!!! Congratulations! Welcome to the family brother in loveeee! @elite.brown." She added on her Instagram Stories, "Never getting over this 😭 A WHOLE MARRIAGE!! SHOCKED US ALL. Our little sister is all grown up 🥹✨ @joiya.brown @elite.brown We love yall! @auntienae95 @choycebrown @daanawilliamson."
Janae reposted Jayla's Instagram Stories post on her own and added an onscreen caption, "GEEKED!!! 🫶🏽." She initially commented on Joiya's post, "THE USERNAME CHANGEEE HELLLOOOO?!?? 😍🥹🤍 congrats to my faves!!!"
Joiya joked on TikTok on Tuesday, May 19, that having a courthouse ceremony saved them $50,000. She added in the caption, "It was perfect for us (and our future pockets😅😛)." Meanwhile, Jalen expressed his happiness in his own TikTok video that day, writing in part, "Can't believe this my life 🥹," and "Life actually feels aligned 😎."

The couple made their relationship Instagram official in January. They met on a Royal Caribbean cruise in 2025, Joiya explained on TikTok.
