For Adan’s part, he explained during their emotional breakup that he had given the idea some thought but ultimately wasn’t onboard.
Following their split in season three, Adan explained how his autism diagnosis shaped his perspective on the topic.
“We have been ridiculed and made fun of, we don’t have many friends, and we have gotten picked on and beaten up,” he told Tudum in an interview published April 10. “For me, believing in God has been my strength, and my religious beliefs are what help me make sense of the pain that I’ve experienced in my life. My values have been shaped by my life and life experience.”
