Man Decapitates Mother, Answers Door Naked When Police Arrive, Then Writes Down Chilling Words

A Missouri man was sentenced to life without parole for the 2018 murder of his mother, who was decapitated.

Trevor John Huber was found guilty of murder on Tuesday, May 19, following a bench trial in Dunklin County, online court records indicate. He was sentenced to life without parole.

Citing a probable cause affidavit, KAIT reported that Huber called 911 in December 2018 and sounded confused.

When police arrived, per the report, Huber answered the door naked. Inside the home, they found Huber's mother, Charlotte Wilson, 63, who had been decapitated.

Police subsequently arrested Huber, who admitted to using methamphetamine, and during an interview with deputies, he said "he was concerned he killed his mother," KAIT reported.

Huber then reportedly wrote "I killed my mother" on a piece of paper before tearing it up and swallowing it.

“I want to thank the Dunklin County Sheriff's Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol for their professional and diligent work in investigating and solving this homicide and in all the cases they handle,” Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Nicholas Jain said, per KAIT.
