The sportscaster, who is the husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Annemarie Wiley, was recently accused of sexual assault by a former ESPN employee, as well as three others, according to filings obtained by Rolling Stone and PEOPLE in May this year.

The accusations — which make seven total for Marcellus, as he was accused of assault by three others in 2023 — were made in court in April, according to Rolling Stone and Us Weekly.

The former ESPN employee alleged in the filings that Marcellus assaulted her in his hotel room in 2009 after inviting her there under false pretenses.

Two of the accusers claim Marcellus raped them between 1995 and 1999 when he was playing football for Columbia University and beginning his NFL career with the Buffalo Bills, according to filings previously obtained by PEOPLE.

Marcellus' fourth alleged victim claimed that the former defensive end began pursuing a relationship with her when she was 13 years old, according to Rolling Stone.

The former NFL player denied the allegations in a YouTube video posted on May 5. “I'm going to continue to challenge all these false accusations,” he said, adding that he's "exposed to inconsistencies."

“For every one of them, I either saw, communicated through email, text, phone, was invited by these individuals after these dates to engage, to be intimate or all the above, after the dates that are in question,” Marcellus claimed.

The 2023 lawsuit, filed by a woman in New York State Supreme Court, alleged that Marcellus sexually assaulted and raped her in the fall of 1994 while they were attending Columbia University. Marcellus has denied the allegations.

Marcellus was selected by the Bills in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft. The defensive end spent four years with the Buffalo team before playing with the Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars.

He retired following the 2006 season and became a sportscaster for both ESPN and Fox Sports. He has appeared on series including NFL Live and SportsNation, as well as podcasts including More To It.

A representative for Marcellus did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Sunday.
