Bec Zacharia revealed that she’s selling her diamond ring from Danny Hewitt after they broke up.
The two met on season 13 of Australia’s Married at First Sight, when they were paired up. However, Hewitt decided to end things during the final vows. Zacharia is now getting rid of her wedding jewelry from the show, she said on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Aug. 1.
“Good afternoon, guys. I’m selling my MAFS diamond wedding ring. I don’t need it. It serves no purpose for me anymore,” she said.

The reality star added that she is going to donate some of the money from the sale to the Animal Welfare League, a clinic that works to help animals in need.
“It was selling at Simon Curwood for $2,800. I obviously don’t expect to get that, but my DMs are open. Hit me up if you’re interested,” she said.
Showing off the ring, Zacharia added, “It’s a beautiful ring. It looks beautiful on the finger, but I don’t need it. So if anyone wants to buy it, let me know, guys.”
PEOPLE reached out to a rep for Zacharia on Sunday, Aug. 2, but did not receive an immediate response.
On April 12, she reflected on the reality show’s finale in an Instagram post, writing, “I came here for love … but I left with something far more valuable, I learned to love myself.”
“I gave this everything, and I’m damn proud of that. But I’ve realized not everyone deserves access to a heart like mine. So while you chose to walk away, I chose me. Stronger. Wiser. Unshakable in my worth. I know exactly what I bring to the table now,” she continued.

The next month, Hewitt received backlash after a video of himself ranting about Zacharia was shown in an episode of the spin-off series MAFS: After The Dinner Party.
The video showed him criticizing the show’s producers for not “bringing him better women” and insinuating that his ex wasn’t “good enough” for him, per the U.K. radio network Heart.
Hewitt claimed he could “roll up to Coles right now, aisle four, and there’s a bird in there, she’ll be better than Bec.”
He later apologized for his actions on Instagram, saying that he was “so ashamed of myself.”
Zacharia gave insight into their toxic relationship in the May 8 episode of the MAFS Funny Podcast.
“I was being gaslit behind the scenes. Anytime that I wanted to bring up an issue with Danny, if he didn’t like what I was saying, it would be twisted and it would be my fault. And so you saw me spiraling into this person,” she claimed.
Zacharia continued, “Whereas as a general day-to-day human being, I’m pretty level-headed and I’m pretty calm.”
