The businesswoman celebrated her 84th birthday on Sunday, Aug. 3, and she marked the occasion by spending time with loved ones — and teasing that she has an upcoming “surprise” in store.
In an Instagram Stories post, Martha reshared a photo her 14-year-old granddaughter Jude Stewart posted, showing the pair out to eat at a seafood restaurant. (Martha’s only daughter, Alexis Stewart, is also mom to son Truman Stewart, 13.)
Martha also shared a post on her own Instagram Stories of two alcoholic beverages, with “Celebration Begins!!!!” written over the image.
On her Instagram feed, meanwhile, the Emmy Award-winning TV host shared a photograph of herself with a plant.
Martha shared a cryptic teaser in the post’s caption, writing, “A little birthday surprise today. And a bigger one for all of you tomorrow.”

Stewart — who is known for her love of a good thirst trap — spoke with PEOPLE last year about her outlook on getting older and taking care of herself as she ages.
“My feeling about good looks and about good health is that you have to start early,” the mother of one and grandmother of two said.
“I try to live a very healthy life. I eat extremely well. I take care of myself. I go to the gym, no matter what, four times a week,” she continued.

Added Stewart, “I take care of my skin very, very well, and everybody can do that. It’s not like I spend a fortune on any of that stuff, but I managed to do it because it’s going to make a difference, and I’m going to live longer and healthier.”
She also said she doesn’t “believe in anti-aging” and instead opts to do the things that will extend your life in a healthy way.
