Miley Cyrus revealed that her forthcoming Hollywood Bowl shows could become something more.
On a Thursday, Sept. 17 episode of Apple Music’s Zane Lowe Show, the actress and pop star opened up about her upcoming Hollywood Bowl shows in L.A. following the release of her new album Bass Persuades.
“I chose to do the show at the [Hollywood] Bowl because I knew that my bed was only going to be like a 10-minute drive home by 11,” said Cyrus, 33.

She also noted that she “might be doing one of the earlier shows” that’s ever happened at the venue.
“They sent me, ‘Well, you know, there’s a hard out at 11 p.m….’ That is so too late. I’m at done by 9:30 p.m.,” said Cyrus.
The “Flowers” hitmaker also detailed how having these shows close to home speaks to her need for “routine.”

“It’s about that’s what I do always, and I want nothing to change,” she said. “It’s just another day, but today I’m playing the Hollywood Bowl.”
She then recalled wanting to “tent” her fiancé Maxx Morando’s new truck for his birthday because she planned to have him drive her to her Hollywood Bowl shows.
“He’s like, ‘We’re taking the Tacoma to the bowl?’ Hell yeah, because it’s just another day,” said Cyrus.
The “Walk of Fame” singer then addressed the high demand for her pair of performances, which was estimated to be nearly 1.5 million fans in the presale ticket queue.

“I think you would have to do a residency of 80 shows at the Bowl to satisfy the level of demand,” Lowe, 53, told her.
Cyrus said that was what her “idea” was.
“This is the ultimate dress rehearsal. I’ve learned now through the queue that my calculations are correct, and people will come to me. I don’t need to drive to you,” she said.

Added Cyrus: “This is proof of concept and potentially the beginning of something broader, but within your own terms.”
Cyrus is set to perform at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 16 and Oct. 18. While she’s performed several times in recent years at various events and specials, this pair of shows will be her first major performances since playing at the Corona Capital music festival in Mexico City in November 2022.
Cyrus’s 10th studio album Bass Persuades is out Friday, Sept. 18.
