  • The move follows a whirlwind year that included Whitney’s Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago and her announcement that she will be departing The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives

Whitney Leavitt and her family are moving on up — into their dream home.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 33, announced the major life milestone in a video shared on Instagram on Friday, June 26.

In the video, Whitney can be seen with her husband, Conner Leavitt, and their three kids, Sedona, Liam and Billy Jean, jumping for joy in a spacious, high-ceilinged living room as Whitney and Conner, 32, released confetti cannons.

“Today is a great day,” Whitney wrote in plain white text over the clip, adding, “WE JUST BOUGHT OUR DREAM HOME!!!”

“These nomads are finally setting some roots 🏠,” she added in the post's caption, before giving a shout-out to her moving company.

While the reality star did not reveal where the new house is located, she and Conner sold their Utah home in May, per TMZ.

The Dancing with the Stars alum also posted about relocating to New York City back in February, sharing a photo of their home packed with a wall of moving boxes.

The move took place as Whitney made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago — a run that smashed the musical's box office record with the highest weekly ticket sales in the show's 29-year history.

Her initial run began on Feb. 2 for a six-week limited engagement, before it was extended due to mounting demand for tickets.

The family's dream home announcement comes on the heels of another major change in Whitney's life: she announced her departure from Hulu's The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives during her final Broadway performance on May 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter

In a video published by TMZ, Whitney could be seen onstage while still in character as Roxie as she pointed to a piece of paper and said, “Oh, erm, what is that? Let me see. Whitney Leavitt announces she's leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” to huge cheers from the audience.

Whitney had been on the cast since the show's debut in September 2024.

Just days before Whitney's announcement, her husband announced that he would be making his New York stage debut in the off-Broadway show 11 to Midnight for a limited three-week engagement.

"I'm so grateful for the opportunity to join the cast of 11 to Midnight and be a part of such a special, unique theater experience here in New York," Conner told PEOPLE at the time.

Conner added that his wife has provided "continuous inspiration to follow your dreams," and that her "experience onstage really helped me find a love and appreciation for the theater."
