The bag’s unique shape is what caught my eye. It takes the space you’d usually find in a tote or satchel and distributes it lengthwise for a distinct silhouette (hence, the name). My personal favorite thing, though, is how the Quince bag embraces a modern shape but still looks completely classic.
The suede exterior adds a subtle, timeless texture, and the easy-to-hold straps are structured and sturdy — you can even wear it as a shoulder bag, if you want. There’s also no unnecessary hardware, so it stays sleek and simple, and it’s easy to dress up or down.
Admittedly, the bag’s look is my main driver for shopping, but in a stroke of luck, it’s also full of clever, functional details. There are two slip pockets on either side for small notebooks or receipts, while the main interior compartment fits larger items and includes a small zipper pocket for valuables. Plus, the bag has a zipper-top closure, so you don’t need to worry about things slipping free. It’s also lined to protect fragile items like phone screens or sunglasses from scratches.
Shoppers also love the bag, praising its shape, size, and design. It’s “roomy” but “not too big, not too small” and still “holds everything” reviewers need, without feeling bulky. In fact, one person who said they had “always carried a tote sized bag” found this style still fit “everything” they need.
