Jaime Pressly is finding a new way to reach fans.
The My Name Is Earl alum, 48, joined OnlyFans on Thursday, May 7 — a move she says gives followers a chance to connect with "creativity and intention."
"The entertainment industry is always shifting, and I've never been someone who sits on the sidelines," she tells PEOPLE. "OnlyFans gives me a space to create what I want, how I want, and share it directly with the people who've supported me for years."
When she announced the news, the actress said she "always believed in evolving with the times."
"This is another way for me to connect directly with my audience, on my own terms, with creativity and intention. I’ve loved meeting fans at various comic-cons and the excitement of having those real face-to-face moments made me want to seek options like OnlyFans.”

TMZ was the first to share the news.
Andy Bachman, CEO of Creators Inc., helped consult Pressly on her OnlyFans launch and said she has "the rare mix of mainstream star power and a real audience connection that modern platforms reward."
"She’s an elite entertainer, and fans are going to love what she creates here," Bachman said.
As for what fans can expect from Pressly, the actress' account promises a "more personal, playful, and completely unfiltered" side of her. The creative venture will include "exclusive" photos and videos, behind-the-scenes moments, late-night thoughts, direct chats with fans and "the side of me Hollywood doesn’t always get to see," she notes in a bio.
"If you’ve ever wondered what I’m really like when the script ends… Come closer."
Pressly's latest move comes after her most recent film and TV appearances in The Re-Education of Molly Singer, Last Shot, The Conners and Elsbeth.
She starred as Joy Turner on My Name Is Earl from 2005 to 2009, winning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2007 for her performance.
Other stars who have turned to OnlyFans include Sopranos alum Drea de Matteo and American Pie star Shannon Elizabeth, who called her move to the platform a chance to be "closer to my fans."
“I'm choosing OnlyFans because it allows me to connect directly with my audience, create on my own terms, and just be free. I really do think this is the future,” she told PEOPLE in April.
