Naomi Watts’ son is celebrating a monumental birthday!
On Friday, July 25, the actress, 56, shared a series of photos on Instagram as she celebrated her son Sasha’s 18th birthday. The proud mom posted pictures of her son smiling, posing in a yard wearing sunglasses and a few throwback snaps of the mother and son.
“Happy birthday sweet, darling @sashapeteschreiber 18 today-and ready for the world! Cannot believe it.😊😭,” Watts wrote in her caption.
“Have so loved watching you grow into the kindest, most wonderful young man. Thank you for making me a first time mum. ♥️.”

Watts shares Sasha and daughter Kai, 16, with ex Liev Schreiber.
On his Instagram Stories, Sasha reshared a post his sister Kai made for him, which featured the two of them when they were younger. “happy birthday ❤️,” Kai wrote on the snap.
This past June, Watts and Schreiber reunited to celebrate their son Sasha’s high school graduation. In one photo posted to Schreiber’s Instagram, Watts could be seen wearing a multicolor maxi dress and straw hat, posing next to son Sasha and husband Billy Crudup.
On Sasha’s other side, Schreiber stood next to his son with a film camera around his neck, posing alongside his wife, Taylor Neisen. Sasha stood in the middle, wearing a gray suit and tan shoes.
“The graduate!!!” Schreiber wrote in his caption. Watts also included a similar photo on her Instagram Stories, adding a sticker that read, “Congrats!”
In May, Watts shared photos and videos of her son Sasha on her Instagram Stories all dressed up and ready to go to his high school prom. In one snap, Watts and Schreiber posed together for a selfie with their son, who wore a dark suit and boutonniere, in the middle.
Other pictures and clips showed the teenager with some of his fellow prom-goers and a large shot of the entire class celebrating the momentous occasion.
