There were an estimated 1,000 guests, including hundreds of A-list celebrity friends and industry tastemakers, at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. Despite the star power, guest Dean Blandino reveals that many guests simply wanted to talk about sports.
During his appearance on Starcade Media’s Arrowhead Allies on Monday, Sept. 28, the Fox rules analyst shared how guests behaved at the ultra-secret wedding, which was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3.
“It was a wedding with a lot of different people,” Blandino, 55, said. “There were some surreal moments, you know, just kind of rubbing elbows with some of the celebrities that were there. But what was so cool about it is you had a lot of A-list celebrities there that just wanted to talk football, which was so cool.”

He continued, “It’s like, ‘Oh, okay, Tom Cruise, I want to talk about, like, Mission Impossible, and he wants to talk about onside kicks.’ So it was just a very, very surreal experience. Very blessed to have been a part of it.”
Although the wedding was massive, Blandino said it still felt “intimate.”
“It was an incredible experience,” he recalled, adding, “They did a tremendous job for the amount of people that were there in the venue, obviously Madison Square Garden. They made it feel very intimate. They made it feel like you weren’t at this big event.”
Blandino was happy to have scored an invite, even if fans were confused.

“I know that kind of went viral for a little bit as, ‘The rules guy from Fox Sports got an invite?’ ” he joked. “So, it was surreal.”
Many celebrities were spotted heading to and leaving Madison Square Garden. Notable attendees included Ed Sheeran, Emma Stone, Jessica Alba, Hugh Grant, Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Lopez, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Dakota Johnson, Karlie Kloss, Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco and many more. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.

Blandino said married life suits Kelce, 36, and credits Swift, also 36, for his hot start to his 14th season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
“My man Travis, I mean, married life is agreeing with him because he’s killing it right now,” he said. “He is killing it.”
