The ‘Adults’ star tells PEOPLE about some of the biggest names that have appeared on his podcast, ‘In Your Dreams’

Owen Thiele has had almost every star you can think of in his bed — not in the way you think.
The Adults star, 29, started a podcast, In Your Dreams, which he films from a bed in a room decorated with nostalgia-inducing posters, in 2024. In the last year, he’s had everyone from Connor Storrie to Mel Robbins join him in the aforementioned bed for candid conversations about their lives and careers.
There’s one guest, though, who took him by surprise the most. “I’ve met her before in passing, but Kendall Jenner came on the podcast and was so open and really just wanted to be there,” Thiele tells PEOPLE at Palma in New York City on Aug. 26, minutes before a slew of guests (think: Bowen Yang, Mary Beth Barone, Dylan Mulvaney) arrive for a Close Friends Only dinner he’s hosting with Instagram to celebrate the premiere of Adults season 2.

“I hope [she] had fun, but [she] seemed, at least, like she did,” he says of Jenner, 30. “It’s not that that’s surprising, it’s just that she’s so famous and so beautiful that you’re like, ‘Why are you sitting in my tiny bed?’”
The January episode with the model turned out “great,” he says. “It was so amazing. I loved it.”
His October episode with Hailey Bieber also comes to mind — in a different way. “Hailey Bieber came on my podcast and has become a dear friend of mine,” Thiele shares.
“She’s the best. She’s so supportive. She is one of the most supportive people I’ve ever met in my life, ever. She’s wonderful, truly,” he raves of Bieber, 29. “She’s a ride or die. She’s a loyal b—-.”
Thiele previously told PEOPLE that he sought out Alex Cooper — In Your Dreams falls under her company, Unwell — ahead of recording the episode with Bieber. “I was like, ‘What do you ask the Hailey Bieber?’ She’s done it before, so I just wanted to get some advice from her,” he said.
“She’s been so cool since the beginning. Anytime I call her, she’ll answer,” he said of Cooper. “She understands me and the world I’m building, and she’s been amazing.”
They have “very different interviewing styles,” though. “She doesn’t like to admit this, but she is a journalist, and she asks questions that are hard-hitting and smart, and my questions are more like, ‘What kind of face wash do you use?’”

He’s got his eye on two other big names for possible future episodes. “Let’s get Sabrina Carpenter or Taylor Swift on my podcast,” he told PEOPLE in March. “But, also, if they don’t want to, I respect you both, and I love you, and I totally understand.”
