Pedro Pascal Slams J.K. Rowling as a “Heinous Loser” After Anti-Trans Comments

Pedro Pascal is shutting down J.K. Rowling’s behavior. 

Amid the Harry Potter author’s ongoing anti-transgender stances, the Last of Us star—whose sister Lux Pascal is a trans woman—slammed her celebration of a Supreme Court ruling in the U.K. that excludes trans women from the legal definition of woman. 

“Awful disgusting S–T is exactly right,” Pascal wrote under an Instagram post describing Rowling’s support of the bill. “Heinous LOSER behavior.”

Although Rowling first expressed her anti-trans beliefs in 2020, she has continued to speak out on her social media platforms. Earlier this month, she resparked backlash after writing in an X post following the Supreme Court ruling, “I love when a plan comes together.”

E! News has reached out to reps for Rowling regarding Pascal’s comments but has not yet heard back. 

And while Pascal is the latest star to speak out against Rowling’s support of anti-trans action, he is not the first. In fact, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, who played the trio of Harry, Hermione and Ron in the Harry Potter films, have all spoken out against Rowling’s beliefs.
