Pod Save America host Jon Lovett and Ari Schwartz are married.
PEOPLE can confirm that the Crooked Media co-founder and the company's chief of staff wed on Saturday, May 23, in Santa Barbara, Calif.

The couple's wedding weekend festivities included a roast of the couple and a variety show during the rehearsal dinner, and several Crooked staffers in attendance shared photos on social media of the newlyweds dancing at the reception and being hoisted in the air on chairs.
The Survivor alum and the Crooked chief of staff went Instagram official in September 2024, sharing a series of sweet shots from the Minnesota State Fair.

“state fair (not pictured: lactaid),” Schwartz captioned the carousel, which included photos of food and a fair amount of PDA.
On March 15, 2025, the couple announced their engagement in a post shared on both of their Instagram pages that featured Lovett’s dog, Pundit.
“Exciting news: I got a dog. This dog. Because we got engaged,” Schwartz captioned the post.

Lovett founded Crooked Media in 2017 alongside fellow ex-staffers of President Barack Obama: Jon Favreau and Tommy Vietor.
Lovett was previously linked to journalist Ronan Farrow from 2011 until 2023. The pair got engaged in 2019, and in March 2023, Lovett shared that they had separated.
Schwartz joined Crooked Media as a programming and production coordinator in 2021 and held various production leadership roles before being promoted to chief of staff in April 2023.
Before co-founding Crooked, Schwartz worked for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s congressional campaign.
The New York representative sent her well-wishes to the couple in the Instagram comments, writing, “Congratulations! 💝 🎊.”
