Real Housewives Jacqueline Laurita and Lynne Share Footage of Their Joint Facelift Journey

Former Real Housewives stars Jacqueline Laurita and Lynne Curtin have undergone facelifts together.

The Housewives legends confirmed last week that they would have face and necklift procedures, in addition to their CO2 laser treatments, from the Newport Beach, California, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Steven Ip on Monday, May 5. Dr. Ip’s Instagram account touted the two surgeries as “the first time” he’d ever operated on two friends back-to-back.

Following the procedure, Jacqueline, 55, and Lynne, 68, brought their social media followers directly into their hospital rooms for daily updates on their recoveries.

“SO FAR I can’t feel a thing! I feel great,” the RHONJ alum wrote on Monday. “I’m still waiting for the other half of my face to wake up that was worked on last. Should be soon! That’s why it’s not moving yet.”

Jacqueline went on to share she had “Aquaphor on [her] face and [she was] keeping [her] head up and straight forward.”

“This is a great crew here! Everyone has been excellent! Catheter will be removed tonight and my oxygen has already been removed,” she continued. “My drains will come out tomorrow and I’ll get to go home bright and early.”

She clarified that Lynne had just been wheeled into their room at the time of her post but was feeling too “groggy” to share anything. The following day, both women were feeling good enough to take part in an Instagram Live Q&A with their fans.

“I have not taken one pain pill this entire time. It doesn’t even hurt,” Jacqueline insisted, with Lynne declaring, “I’m not sore at all!”

The two reality stars repeatedly reminded one another throughout their Instagram Live that they were breaking their doctor’s rule by glancing at the comments, since they’d been instructed not to turn their heads to the side.

“I know it looks like we have jockstraps on our heads,” Jacqueline later quipped, in reference to the bandages she and Lynne were wearing.

The Housewives duo were supported by former RHOC star Kelly Dodd, who commented, “This is amazing 🔥🔥🔥🔥you all look amazing.” Another former Orange County Housewife, Peggy Tanous, also wrote that both women’s quick recovery was “so amazing.”

Dr. Ip offered more details on the ladies’ procedures in a follow-up vlog on Wednesday, May 7, confirming that Jacqueline and Lynne’s healing was “going great.”

“How they looked right after [the procedure], everything was perfect,” the doctor wrote via Instagram. “They’re going to look great when it’s all said and done. The recovery is very, very smooth right now … But yeah, [I was] super happy with how everything turned out.”

Jacqueline thanked Dr. Ip once again and then offered her own update by commenting, “We are loving the surprisingly easy recovery! You’re the best! We appreciate you and your amazing staff and lovely wife @iammelissalocke!”

Curtin was a cast member on The Real Housewives of Orange County for its fourth and fifth seasons, between 2008 and 2010. Much of Lynne’s time on RHOC revolved around her family’s financial troubles and her strained marriage to husband Frank Curtin — whom she divorced in 2019. (The Curtins share daughters Raquel, born 1990, and Alexa, born 1992.)

Jacqueline was an O.G. cast member on The Real Housewives of New Jersey and remained on the Bravo reality show on-and-off through season 7. She memorably had many fiery on-air clashes with best friend-turned-enemy Teresa Giudice on RHONJ, but the two have since reconciled. Jacqueline and husband Chris Laurita relocated from New Jersey to Las Vegas in 2019 and then moved to Orange County, California in 2023. (Jacqueline and Chris share sons C.J., born 2002, and Nicholas, born 2009, while she has a daughter, Ashlee, born 1990, from a previous relationship.)
