Rihanna put her own spin on the classic suit while stepping out in Paris on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The “Umbrella” singer donned a navy pinstriped suit with a black lace-trimmed bralette underneath. Rihanna, 38, completed the look with sleek sunglasses, a silver handbag, crocodile-stamped shoes and a bold red lip. She was photographed arriving at the restaurant Cesar after attending Céline Dion’s concert.
The look keeps with Rihanna’s longtime approach to fashion, which has seen her mix traditional tailoring with more daring pieces on red carpets, at major events and during public appearances. The singer has also collaborated with major fashion houses and expressed her style through her Fenty brand.

The entrepreneur has made history in the fashion industry. She became Dior’s first Black spokeswoman in 2015 and later became the first woman to create a brand under luxury conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
Rihanna, who was named the CFDA Fashion Icon in 2014, has previously spoken about the role fashion plays in her life. While accepting the award, she said, “I can compensate for all of my weaknesses with fashion,” adding, “Fashion should never be frustrating, it should be fun.”
That approach has also carried into her style as a mom. Rihanna and longtime partner A$AP Rocky, 37, are parents to sons RZA and Riot and daughter Rocki, whom they welcomed in September 2025.

In January, Rihanna discussed how becoming a mother influenced the clothes she gravitates toward, during an interview with Dior following the brand’s spring/summer show at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. While she said it was “impossible” to choose a favorite look from the collection, she pointed to coats, dresses and skirts among the pieces she wanted to wear.
“I wanted the coats. I wanted the dresses. I wanted the skirts with a little bump right here ‘cause I got a little pouch after having kids, so I’d love that,” she said.
She also praised the collection’s accessories, saying, “I loved the accessories — the bags, the shoes, the earrings — everything was perfectly made, super well done, super whimsical. Everything made me excited. It was a very thrilling show.”

The Grammy Award-winning artist has previously made clear that pregnancy would not change her approach to getting dressed.
While pregnant with her first child in 2022, she told Vogue, “When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, ‘There’s no way I’m going to go shopping in no maternity aisle.’ I’m sorry—it’s too much fun to get dressed up.”
“I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing,” she added.
Her fashion choices have included some of her most talked-about red carpet looks, including a 50-pound gold Chinese couture gown with a 16-foot train at the 2015 Met Gala and a voluminous pink Giambattista Valli gown at the 2015 Grammy Awards.

While Rihanna’s fashion moments often command attention, she has continued to make appearances in music as well. In June, she performed onstage for the first time in two years at Jay-Z’s final 30th anniversary concert in New York City, where the pair performed their 2010 hit “Run This Town.” She also performed her 2015 song “Bitch Better Have My Money.”
For the appearance, Rihanna wore a custom Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello look featuring a strapless, long-sleeved leather top with animal-free fur trim and matching leather capri pants, along with layered belts, sunglasses and leather slingback pumps.
“Oh my God, I missed this s— , y’all!” Rihanna told the crowd. “New York, I love you guys!”
