Dominic Sessa is cooking up his next project.
The Holdovers star rode a ferry June 19 in Hyannis, Mass., while filming scenes for the upcoming Anthony Bourdain biopic Tony, in which he plays the title role.
During filming, Dominic, 22, evoked the late Parts Unknown host’s early years as he wore his loose curls in a shaggy hairstyle. As for his wardrobe, the actor donned a red collared shirt underneath a black leather jacket for the nautical outing.
The setting of the shoot also indicates that the film will depict Anthony’s first foray into the culinary world. After all, his years spent in nearby Provincetown in the early 1970s were particularly formative—and not just for kicking off his career in the kitchen.
“I found my way back to my own past,” he said during a visit to the city in a November 2014 episode of the CNN series, “both in Massachusetts—which is where I started my career as a cook at age 17—and my own career with heroin.”
