Stephen Colletti is ready for fatherhood.
The actor and reality TV star, 40, exclusively caught up with PEOPLE at The Reunion: Laguna Beach red carpet premiere in Santa Monica, Calif., on March 26. During the conversation, he revealed he’s excitedly awaiting the arrival of his first baby with his wife, NASCAR reporter Alex Weaver.
“It sounds crazy, but I'm ready for my life to be put upside down in that way,” Colletti said. “I've been watching my wife take on pregnancy and she's been such a superhero, such a badass.”
The One Tree Hill alum continued, “I honestly thought it was going to be very overwhelming. And it is, but she's taking it in stride. And I'm like, damn, what a badass bitch. Excuse me. But she is.”

“It's very cool to see. And this next chapter, I feel so fortunate it's about to happen. And then we're going to be experiencing it together. And I know we're going to have a lot, a lot to learn,” he added.

Colletti and Weaver, 32, first announced in January that they were expecting a child together in a joint Instagram post.
The post featured a black-and-white photo of the couple standing on a beach as they held Weaver's growing baby bump.
In another picture in the same post, the expectant mom smiled as she held her belly with one hand and her husband's hand with the other.

Colletti and Weaver started dating in 2021. Two years later, Colletti proposed in Rome.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE following their Italian engagement on Nov. 15, 2023, the couple revealed how Weaver was thrown off the scent of the proposal, which took place “exactly two years” after their very first date.
“He gave no tells that that day was the big day,” Weaver said at the time. “In secret conversations with my mom, he was told to make sure I was dressed appropriately with my hair done and makeup on so Stephen suggested we take our ‘Christmas card photo’ as his sneaky way of getting me to dress nice.”
The couple announced their marriage in a joint post on Instagram in October 2025 that featured photos from their courthouse wedding.
"Mr. & Mrs. 🤍," they captioned the post.
"It was a beautifully intimate day that was celebrated with both of our families by our side," Colletti and Weaver told PEOPLE of the day.
