Sydney Sweeney is switching up her hair once again.
The actress, 28, ditched her recent bob in favor of long bouncy waves when she walked the holiday-inspired red carpet at a New York screening of The Housemaid on Tuesday, Dec. 2.

She previously revealed in an interview clip shared on The Hollywood Reporter‘s TikTok page that she was initially hesitant to chop her hair because it was such a “huge change.”
“I think my long hair became my security blanket. I always wanted it down and wavy, but I’m loving this. I feel like I’m going to meet a new version of myself,” she said at the time.
Sweeney paired her long waves at The Housemaid screening with a sparkling custom Miu Miu dress.
The floor-length design featured a plunging neckline with a bow-wrapped empire waist. Sweeney paired the gown with a feather boa and diamond earrings.
The Housemaid, from director Paul Feig and screenwriter Rebecca Sonnenshine, is based on Freida McFadden’s 2022 bestseller of the same name.
According to the official logline, the story follows a struggling young woman named Millie (Sweeney) who eagerly accepts a job as a housemaid for a wealthy couple. But she quickly learns that Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew (Brandon Sklenar) are keeping secrets that are “far more dangerous than her own.”
