Tana Mongeau is “grateful” to be in a good place and a good relationship.
The social media star and podcaster, 27, tells PEOPLE that after feeling unlucky in love for many years, she finally found everything she was looking for in her romance with Makoa Da Silva.
Mongeau says she now wants to "be the poster child for every girl" going through dating struggles in their 20s, proving that the right person is out there for everyone.
“Trisha Paytas and I both have very much been like, ‘You can find your Makoa, you can find your Moses [Hacmon].' A good man is out there," she adds. "I think for a long time, the people I was choosing to date were almost a form of self-harm."

Mongeau will be covering all things relationships in her new podcast, Brand Safe, where she will be “talking about dating and love and what that looks like in your 20s.”
“I'm so grateful to have finally found someone who is loyal and respects me, and he's truly the yin to my yang," Mongeau adds. "I think that I am a thousand miles a minute, and I'm type B final boss, and he is my responsible, calm, respectful, he thinks things through, my respectful king."
Given that he "balances [her] out in such a great way," she is "excited" to have him join her occasionally on the new podcast, which is out May 9.
"We've sat down for a few episodes, and it's nice to just… sometimes we'll get stoned and introspective and sit on our couch in Hawaii and just talk about how far we've come," she shares.

The couple has been together for a little over two years, with the influencer confirming their relationship on Instagram in December 2023.
As for the biggest piece of dating advice she wishes someone had told her in the past, Mongeau emphasizes that “it's okay to end it.”
“I think that that's where my head goes, is that for so long I thought that love was something that you had to fix. I thought that love was something that you had to earn. I thought that love was not love if it didn't come with highs and lows,” Mongeau explains. “I was constantly chasing those highs as a reward. Over time, I learned that love is something that you're supposed to feel peaceful in, and love is something that you're supposed to feel secure in. Chaos is not butterflies.”

Mongeau — who is pansexual and famously dated Bella Thorne and Jake Paul, among others — now wants young girls out there to know that “they are so worth it" and “to give themselves so much grace.”
“Your 20s are a mess. Especially with social media and just today's day and age, like, it's very hard to be a girl in your 20s, and I'm just here to say that it does and it can get better and easier and to just give yourself grace and make those mistakes and learn the lessons,” Mongeau advises.
Ultimately, she says, “Don't beat yourself up, diva, it will all work out.”
