Taylor Swift is offering a glimpse into the making of The Life of a Showgirl.

The pop superstar, 35, took to Instagram on Monday, Oct. 6 and shared a series of photos of herself with writer-producers Max Martin and Shellback from the recording studio while they made her latest album together.

Swift wrote in the post’s caption, “Being in the studio and creating these songs was an unforgettable experience, but luckily I don’t ever have to forget it because I was recording while we were writing – and now it’s a way to look back on the process and give you guys a glimpse into how we wrote these songs, and hear the moments we thought of these ideas in real time.”

The post featured images of Swift and Martin, 54, at a piano as well as all three of them posing together with drinks on a table.

The third photo features a hidden nod to Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, as she’s sporting the “TNT” bracelet she was first seen wearing after the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC Championship game on Jan. 28, 2024. Kelce also has a matching bracelet, both made by Wove Made Inc. Jewelers.

Along with sharing the photos, the “Elizabeth Taylor” singer released The Life of a Showgirl (DELUXE Alone in My Tower Acoustic Version), a new edition of the album featuring some of Swift’s “original songwriting voice memos” from the recording process. It’s available on iTunes through Tuesday, Oct. 7.

The standard version of The Life of a Showgirl was released on Friday, Oct. 3. She announced the record on Travis and his brother Jason’s New Heights podcast in August and spoke about working with Martin and Shellback on days off from her Eras Tour’s European leg.

“Working with them again was absolutely incredible,” said Swift. “And actually when I was on tour in Stockholm, I had Max Martin come out to the show, and I was talking to him, and I was like, ‘I just feel like we could just knock it out of the park if we went back in, and we did this all in Sweden, and it was just us three.’”

She added, “I essentially said to him, I want to be as proud of an album as I am of the Eras Tour and for the same reasons, you know? And he was like, ‘Do you understand what kind of pressure that is?’”

Swift also teased “bangers” to come on the then-unreleased album, adding, “It just comes from like the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life. And so that effervescence has come through on this record.”
