A Wisconsin teenager has been sentenced to a 20-year prison term after he was found guilty of fatally shooting his sister.
Hezile Frison, now 16, shot his sister, Ashley Hudson, 30, at point-blank range during a fight over a social media post in June 2025, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. He was initially charged as an adult with first-degree intentional homicide. Then in July, he pleaded guilty to an amended charge of first-degree reckless homicide.
On Sept. 25, Milwaukee County Judge David Borowski sentenced Frison to two decades in prison, followed by 10 years of extended supervision. He was also ordered to pay $1,800 in restitution.
Before Borowski shared the sentencing, he addressed an argument involving Frison and numerous relatives on the night of the killing. The argument reportedly involved several family members and was caught on video, Fox 6 reported, citing a criminal complaint.
The fight allegedly included one person hitting Hudson with a baseball bat. She then went to her car and grabbed a knife. Then Frison pointed a gun at her and shot her in the chest, according to the criminal complaint. “It was depravity, it was insanity, it was lunacy.” Borowski said, according to the outlet.
“You get involved in a fight, it’s complete and utter insanity. And your mother should hear this insanity between your sisters yelling, screaming,” Borowski said of the video. “I heard the b-word about 20 times. People swinging bats. And you walk up to your sister and shoot her in the chest. As she was backing away.”
Frison reportedly replied, “I want to bring her back,” prompting Borowski to say, “But you can’t bring her back.”

“Mr. Frison, I recognize part of it is your age, but you killed your own sister, and you showed no remorse,” the judge said.
The judge’s remarks follow Frison’s comments to investigators when he was interviewed about the homicide. Frison initially denied he was at the shooting. But when he was identified in screenshots of the video, he told the authorities his sister “ran up on” him.
When Frison was alerted his sister was dead, he replied: “What’s that got to do with me?” according to the criminal complaint and Fox 6. When asked if he was apologetic, he reportedly said, “No, I’m just ready to do the time since I did the crime,” and added, “Man, (expletive) her.”
Frison’s other sister, Aaliyah J. Frison, now 22, and his mother, Tara T. Hudson, now 48, were previously sentenced on charges related to the incident.
Aaliyah pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon. She was sentenced in January to two years in prison, two years of extended supervision and two years of probation.
Tara pleaded guilty to resisting or obstructing an officer, and was sentenced in October 2025 to seven months in a correctional facility and one year of probation.
