A Texas woman has been arrested after allegedly providing alcohol to a minor who was involved in a fatal crash.

Jessica Moncallo, 30, was arrested and booked into the Dawson County Jail on May 11 in connection with a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 16-year-old driver on April 15 on County Road 18, the Texas Department of Public Safety said in a press release on Tuesday, May 12.

She's accused of purchasing or furnishing alcohol to a minor.

It is not immediately known if Moncallo has obtained legal counsel.

Authorities did not disclose the identity of the victim, but said toxicology results for the teen showed a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.081.

In Texas, the legal blood alcohol content (BAC) limit is 0.08 for drivers aged 21 and older operating standard passenger vehicles.
