The Bachelor Alum Mara Agrait Is Engaged to Joel Sanger: ‘Best Decision of Our Lives’

Mara Agrait is engaged!

On Oct. 3, The Bachelor alum announced the happy news that her partner, Joel Sanger, had popped the question. In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared a set of engagement photos, taken off the coast of Mykonos, Greece, celebrating their bright future together.

“The happiest moment of my life was when you got down on one knee, in the most breathtaking place I’ve ever seen, and asked me to be yours forever,” Agrait wrote in the caption.

In one photo, Sanger, who is a co-founder of Tempted Dirty Shirley, got down on one knee on a cliffside overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, as Agrait beamed with joy. In another, the pair shared a kiss against the picturesque landscape.

She continued in the caption, “We made the best decision of our lives when we chose each other and I’m beyond excited to see what the future has in store for us. I can’t wait to build a life and a beautiful family with you. You really are so incredibly special, I feel lucky and honored to call you mine.”

Agrait then called Sanger her “future husband” — “I just LOVE the way that sounds,” she added.

On Sept. 25, the couple shared a series of photos from their trip as they posed on the beach, shared romantic dinners, and enjoyed nights out. “Travel couple fit checks: Mykonos edition” the caption read.

“😍❤🔥 love you so much babe ! What a great trip!” Sanger commented.

Agrait appeared on Season 26 of The Bachelor with Clayton Echard. She was eliminated in week 6. Echard’s final choice was wedding videographer Susie Evans, who rejected him. Evans was the first person in the show’s history to reject the lead’s proposal. 

Agrait also appeared on season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise.
