The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast have a thing for actors!
On Saturday, June 7, the cast of Hulu’s hit series spoke candidly about each of their celebrity “hall passes” during MomTok: The Unholy Tea, a live show at the Palazzo Theatre in The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. A “hall pass” in this context is the ability to step out with one celebrity without repercussions.
Taylor Frankie Paul, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mayci Neeley, Jen Affleck, Layla Taylor and Mikayla Matthews didn’t hold back, with Layla quickly noting that Matthew McConaughey is a “daddy” and has her eye.
For Mayci, she went more fictional, noting her crush is Vampire Diaries‘ David Salvatore, the character name of Ian Somerhalder. “There is a difference between David and Ian, so know that,” she insisted as the audience cheered wildly.

Taylor went for Jake Gyllenhaal and Mikayla took a shine to Chris Hemsworth, while Jessi opted for Harry Styles. “I saw the One Direction movie 13 times in theaters,” she confessed.
Jen, who acknowledged she’s not related to Ben Affleck, said the actor “back in the day” would be her hall pass.
During the 75-minute show, the cast also reflected on motherhood, read risqué confessions from unnamed audience members, participated in a dance party and judged a contest that had one woman putting a condom on a banana, another woman giving a lap dance to a Chippendale and a third woman mimicking sex positions with that same Chippendale.

While The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, now in its second season, is usually dripping with drama, the women all played nice on stage on Saturday, but there was one telling moment in which Layla spoke about her worst dating stories, one of which involved another cast member.
“It’s called Small Lake City,” she said, referring to the Salt Lake City area, where all the women reside. “Everyone kind of gets with each other, and the likelihood that one of your close friends has been with someone that you have [been with] is pretty likely.”
While not detailing the timeline, Layla recalled having a great date and hitting it off with a man she met on a dating app. “Then we started to go over some mutuals that we have in common, and one mutual we have in common is Ms. Taylor Frankie Paul. She took the man’s virginity!”

The mystery man, she added, was a former roommate of Dakota Mortensen, Taylor’s ex-boyfriend.
“That was awkward, even in the family of MomTok,” Layla said.
“My mother is in the room!” Taylor’s responded.
