He might have a high profile, but Usher pulled off a low-key wedding when he said "I Do" to wife, Jennifer Goicoechea in 2024.

Speculation that the famed ladies' man tied the knot with his longterm girlfriend first surfaced when court records acquired by PEOPLE revealed the Grammy winner and the music executive received a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada on Feb. 8, 2024. The timing was perfect as fans were more focused on his Super Bowl Halftime performance set for Feb. 11.

After the big game, the pair stepped out together in Las Vegas, and Usher was photographed wearing what appeared to be a gold band on his left ring finger. Mere hours after delivering a show-stopping Super Bowl Halftime Show, PEOPLE confirmed the "Moving Mountains" singer was officially hitched.

Speaking with PEOPLE exclusively, the Super Bowl 2024 halftime show performer opened up about his relationship with Goicoechea, with whom he shares daughter Sovereign and son Sire.

"Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are," he said.

"We've obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children," Usher continued. "It wouldn't be odd for us to get married. We already did here. You know what I'm saying?"
