Tiger Woods is continuing to seek treatment after a brief pause to "support" his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, amid her breast cancer diagnosis.
A source close to the 50-year-old golfer tells PEOPLE, “Tiger should be in a planned program for awhile more. He is doing fine and on the road to a healthier future.”
Woods traveled from the International treatment facility back home to Florida, where he had previously been arrested for an alleged DUI on March 27, to handle personal matters, says the source. The 15-time major champion was photographed exiting his private jet at Palm Beach International Airport on May 13, with TMZ reporting the plane had flown in from Zurich, Switzerland.
“Tiger flew back to take care of some things and offer support to his girlfriend Vanessa’s health issues as well as to be here for her golfer daughter Kai’s high school graduation,” the insider shares.

“He is a family oriented guy and nothing has changed," adds the source.
Woods and Vanessa, 48, who went Instagram-official with their relationship in March 2025, "are a solid couple who have been there for the other," the source says. “They love each other and offering help when needed is an important part of their relationship. It has made them both stronger, although Vanessa is a strong woman to begin with.”
Another source tells PEOPLE, Woods is "doing what is necessary to get healthy and move forward in his life" following the arrest. “He wants to feel better and play golf. He wants to live a good life and be with those he loves. This is what he has to do to get to that point.”
A third insider says the golfer felt he "needed to be with" Vanessa as she revealed her cancer diagnosis. “He and Vanessa are close and share their lives. He needed to be with her and he was. They do what they can for the other in light of both of them having heavy schedules of responsibility," says the source.

“Life brings unexpected twists and turns and so far both of them have been there to help the other,” the source adds. “They are lucky to have found each other.”
Vanessa revealed her diagnosis in a "personal health update" on Instagram on Wednesday, May 20. "I've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn't news anyone expects, I'm working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan," Vanessa wrote.
"I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me," she added.
