Timothy Simons' kids aren't fazed by their dad's fame.
While stepping out to the PaleyFest LA Celebrates Netflix’s Nobody Wants This event on April 8, the actor, 47, revealed to PEOPLE exclusively that his children couldn't care less about his celebrity status amid the success of the Netflix series.
"My kids are 14. I'm not f—ing cool," he said, referring to the twins he shares with his wife, Annie Simons.
"Like, nothing I do is cool right now," he continued. "So it could be the biggest show in the world. They simply do not care."
The twins are, however, impressed by his costars, who include Adam Brody, Kristen Bell, Jackie Tohn and Justine Lupe.
"They always, like whenever they get to see Justine and Jackie, Adam and Kristen, they're always excited to see them," Timothy continued. "I've got to remind them that there's a fifth person in that ensemble. But no."

Last year, Timothy told PEOPLE that his kids — while maybe not so impressed by their dad — are fans of his show.
"They really like Nobody Wants This," the actor said while stepping out to the season 6 premiere of The Handmaid's Tale in April 2025. "So that gave me a little bit of credibility, too. But I think mostly because they want to meet all the other actors in it."

At the time, the Veep alum shared that he was planning to bring his kids to the set during filming of season 2, noting it would be a "big day for them."

"They want to meet everybody. They want to meet Justine, Kristen, Adam. They want to meet Jackie," he added. "And I'm sort of like, 'Yeah, guys, I'm on this show too, and I see you every day.' And they're like, 'We don't care. We don't care.' "
Timothy also previously revealed how he scored some dad points when he was cast in the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians in the recurring role of Tantalus. He told PEOPLE in January 2025 that his kids were "excited" about him joining the cast of the franchise.

“They loved them,” he explained of his kids’ interest in the Percy Jackson book series. “It’s very fun to know that I can do something my kids are into.”
“I brought up some books [on the set], and the cast all signed the books,” Timothy continued, recalling that his kids “were over the moon.”
“I don’t know how long those positive vibes are going to last,” he joked of his teenagers. “There are a lot of emotions running around my house, and usually they’re directed at me.”
