Travis Kelce Flashes His Intricate Gold Wedding Ring in First Post-Wedding Podcast Appearance

The NFL star also opened up about his nuptials to Taylor Swift on the season premiere of his ‘New Heights’ podcast

Travis Kelce loves being a married man!

The 36-year-old NFL star returned to his and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast for a new season on Wednesday, Sept. 2, where he couldn’t help flash a close-up look at his detailed gold wedding following his July 3 wedding to wife Taylor Swift. 

“You’re finally married!” Jason, 38, declared, as Travis grinned before holding up the hand with his new bling and saying, “I am a married man.”

While Travis has been spotted rocking the ring at training camp for the Kansas City Chiefs, he hasn’t given fans such a close-up shot of his shiny new accessory until now. The ring has an engraved criss-crossed pattern, wrapping around the band and features stunning details.

Travis also opened up about his Madison Square Garden wedding to Swift during the podcast.

“It’s a night out we’ll never forget,” Travis recalled of the ceremony.

He added, “Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had, throughout the entire evening and hearing that, kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man.”

Travis also explained why the couple chose the sporting arena for their big day.

“We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. And we needed it to be a private feel,” he said on the podcast. “And MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”

In the nearly two months since the couple’s wedding, Travis has been busy preparing for the new football season with the Kansas City Chiefs. The team’s tight end has been at training camp in Missouri for much of the summer. 

Unfortunately, the Chiefs lost 20-12 to the Los Angeles Rams in a preseason match on Aug. 15. 

The Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos for the first regular season game at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 14.

Since tying the knot, the couple have been spotted out and about this summer. Days after their own wedding they attended the wedding of Travis’ teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster in California.

While Travis was busy getting ready to play, Swift traveled to London for the wedding of her recording engineers Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk.

In mid-August, Travis spoke about his and Swift’s wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City, saying, “MSG, man, you know, I always told myself I go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking, and my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp, I didn’t get my opportunity to go then,” referencing Swift’s attendance at the New York Knicks’ Game 4 win during the NBA Finals.

“It’s kind of cool, you know, to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the Mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there … It was perfect,” he added at the time.
