Kylie Kelce, Shonda Rhimes and Pete Davidson are among the recipients of this year's special achievement awards for outstanding impact on internet culture

The Webby Awards have officially recognized the most influential people, brands and moments of this past year.
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal some of the 2026 winners announced by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) on Tuesday, April 21. The 30th annual Webby Awards recognize excellence online and celebrates the personalities shaping the digital zeitgeist. Musicians like Alex Warren, Cardi B, Justin Bieber and Katseye reigned across various categories, while creators like Keith Lee, Trixie Mattel and The Try Guys have continued to dominate with their creative output.
In addition to the regular category winners, the Webby Awards also honor individuals with special achievement accolades for outstanding contributions to internet culture.

Kylie Kelce will receive the Webby Podcast of the Year Award for her fan-favorited series, Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, and AI platform Claude will receive the Webby Person of the Year Award for reshaping how we create, communicate and work online. The inaugural Webby Streaming Person of the Year Award goes to Shonda Rhimes, who works as a writer, producer and CEO of Shondaland has made a trailblazing impact on the streaming era of film and TV.
Taraji P. Henson receives the IADAS and NAACP Webby Advocate of the Year Award for advancing mental health awareness, advocating for entertainment pay equity and leveraging her platform to champion underrepresented communities. Additionally, both Pete Davidson and Druski are being honored with 2026 Webby Special Achievement Awards for their impact in the comedy space.
